Delete your Savvy Nurse account

Applies to the web app at savvy-nurse.papadimitropoulos.com and the Savvy Nurse Android app (developer: Maniot Ventures). Last updated: October 5, 2026

You can delete your account and everything linked to it at any time. It takes four taps in the app, or one email.

Option 1 — in the app (immediate)

1. Open Savvy Nurse and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Scroll to Privacy & data and tap Delete my account & data.
4. Confirm with Yes, delete everything.

Deletion happens right away and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — by email

Send an email to privacy@savvynurseapp.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account (that's how we verify it's you — we never ask for your password). We confirm by reply and delete the account within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account: email address and password.
• Your profile: display name, XP, streak, lesson progress and settings stored on our servers.
• Your league seats and duels.
• Messages you sent or received in the app, and the people you blocked.
• Referral records that involve you.
• Your daily-reminder (push) subscription and your weekly-email subscription.
• Progress saved on the device you deleted from.

What is kept

• Anonymous usage events (which lesson was started, which quiz was passed). They are keyed to a random device ID, never to your email or name, and stay only as aggregate statistics.
• Feedback you sent stays, but is unlinked from your account so it can no longer identify you.
• Reports about a conversation, whether you filed one or someone reported you, are kept with their copy of the messages so we can act on abuse, but are no longer linked to your account.
• Weekly backup copies of our database may still contain your data for up to 60 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten.

Deleting only some data

• Daily reminders: switch them off under Profile → Notifications; the push subscription is removed.
• Weekly lesson email: switch it off in Settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any of the emails.
• Display name: clear it in Settings to go back to appearing as "Learner" plus a short code.
• Progress on this device only: clear the site data in your browser or the app's storage in Android settings; your account on the server is untouched.
• A copy of your data before you delete: Settings → Download my data.
